Following the vintage patchwork lead from the Piecework collection, Anna Maria designed this sampler style quilt as an album of favourite traditional blocks. It is a wonderful way to stretch your patchwork muscles if it has been a while or revisit some straightforward block building if your projects have been tedious lately. The bold solid colours used highlight the various shapes of each block while the small-scale prints provide some detail and texture. This is an opportunity to combine fabrics (or scraps) a different way for every block so that the only challenge in the making is to imbue the quilt with exciting variety.
